Xumo Sees Sharp TVs as ‘Groundbreaking’ Move into Premium Tier – Beet.TV

Philadelphia, PA &ndash; January 7, 2025 &ndash; Xumo, a streaming platform joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, today announced that Sharp will introduce a new line of QLED 4K UHD TVs featuring the Xumo TV operating system, launching across the U.S. in spring 2025. The TVs, available in 50&rdquo;, 55&rdquo;, 65&rdquo;, 75&rdquo; and 85&rdquo; screen class sizes, offer innovative features designed to enhance content discoverability and simplify streaming for viewers.

The simplicity of the Xumo TV experience is powered by its global entertainment operating system, which supports tens of millions of devices worldwide. Key features include seamless content discovery, voice search, and advanced personalization. Sharp AQUOS QLED TVs will also feature:

Sharp is now the fourth manufacturer to produce Xumo TVs, joining Element, Hisense, and Pioneer in offering the platform to consumers.
